Livestock Agriculture

GMO Crops make up approximately %90 of commercially grown corn, soybean, and cotton, yet no there is no commercial GMO animal that can benefit livestock farmers. This is because it is not only inordinately expensive but can take more than 15 years to produce enough basic animal lines to sell commercially. Even then, it is not feasible to make enough to replace the 100 million livestock animals produced annually.

Cyto-Clone is developing a novel solution to this problem using a high-throughput cloning method and Implantation as a Service model to produce transgenics at massive scales for a reasonable cost.

The ability to make transgenic animals will allow us to create cows, pigs, and chickens that grow faster, develop less disease, and use less resources. Through cloning we can guarantee farmers animals with desirable traits for meat, dairy, and egg production.

Our platform will not only allow us to create specific transgenic products but also license our technology out to other companies that want to produce their own transgenic lines.
